Anil Jadhav is an Indian farmer. He had always dreamed of having a large family. But as droughts in his homeland increase, his income — and marriage prospects — are dwindling.
Karan Deep Singh served as a co-director, producer, cinematographer and video editor for this documentary film published by German broadcaster, Deutsche Welle (DW). The initial idea for the film was proposed by Elke Scholiers. Karan and his team received support from The Pulitzer Center for making this film. It was executive produced by Axel Rowohlt, Patricia Szilagyi, Kerstin Hilt and Marc Erath.
